Overview

DHI was established by Royal Charter on 1 November 2007 as the commercial arm of the Royal Government, holding the government's commercially oriented state enterprises and deploying sovereign capital for long-term returns and national development. The Charter and the government's 2007 ownership policy define the classification of DHI-Owned (DOC), DHI-Controlled (DCC) and DHI-Linked (DLC) companies, the Board chaired by the Prime Minister, and the framework for SOE corporate governance, dividend policy and public investment via SOEs.
