Overview

The Public Procurement Code is the primary legislation governing the award, execution and oversight of public contracts in Madagascar, replacing the 2004 code. It separates the control and regulation functions into distinct bodies, with the Autorite de Regulation des Marches Publics (ARMP) responsible for regulation. It sets out procurement methods, candidate selection and evaluation rules applicable to works, supplies and intellectual services.
