Overview

Brazil's principal climate strategy to 2035, structured in mitigation, adaptation and cross-cutting axes, comprising a National Mitigation Strategy with eight sector plans (energy, transport, industry, agriculture, land use, cities, waste) and a National Adaptation Strategy with sixteen sectoral/thematic plans. Aligned with Brazil's updated NDC (net GHG cut of 59-67% below 2005 by 2035), it directs climate-aligned public and private investment, including in low-carbon infrastructure and adaptation.
